Radiowave Mole Removal

Many people have moles on their faces and/or bodies. Most moles are non-malignant though a small percentage can become malignant. Moles that change color, texture or size should be examined. If they’re found to be dangerous, they should be dealt with swiftly through radiowave mole removal method or radiosurgery.

Radiowave Mole Removal

What is radiosurgery?

Radiosurgery is a technology used for the treatment of tissues ranging from soft, surface tissue to deep, muscular tissues. Radiosurgery is similar to the other two methods of mole removal: laser and electro surgery. Radiosurgery makes use of a different electromagnetic spectrum than the others. The process of removing moles through this method is beneficial for many reasons.

Causes Less or No Damage

The first advantage is that the radiosurgery is that it makes use of low temperature waves unlike laser and electro surgery; this means the tissues inside the body don’t get burned. Also, while treating specific part of the body, the nearby tissues can’t get damaged. Fewer traumatic injuries are sustained during surgery of this type. It’s an ideal way to remove moles, especially moles on the face or neck where laser or electro surgery could damage important micro-muscles in control of minor, but crucial, facial expression.

No Pain

During the radiowave removal process you won’t feel any pain. There is no bleeding, stitching or infections that can occur as a result of treatment. Unlike other removal processes, there is no post-operative swelling, either.

Excellent Cosmetic Results

The results after the process are amazing: people won’t be able to tell that you ever had a mole! With perfect glowing skin, you can look stunning and feel confident.

Malignant Moles

There are malignant moles that may have melanoma or other types of cancerous cell growth. For instance, there’s a cancerous mole known as “basal cell carcinoma” which doesn’t spread cancer to the distant parts of the body, but can grow into deep tissue. Getting rid of advanced “basal cell carcinoma” relies on extensive surgery and disfigurement of the area is usually unavoidable. This kind of mole is usually pearl colored and spider veins can be seen running to the mole. These symptoms aren’t guarantees that the mole is cancerous, these characteristics are sometimes found in non-malignant moles.

Non-Malignant Moles

Non-malignant moles, as the name describes, are not harmful. People prefer getting rid of them for cosmetic reasons, especially if they’re found on the face or skin that’s visible on a regular basis. Often without a good insurance plan, this kind of cosmetic removal would come out-of-pocket.

The Total Time Period and Process of the Surgery

This technology is simple and takes only seconds; usually it takes less than a minute to remove the moles successfully. Non-malignant moles are treated by simply applying a numbing cream, which is injected locally to the mole, then a quick snip. Malignant moles have to be removed carefully – often more tissue will be excavated to ensure that all cancerous cells are gone. Recovery will take longer for the removal of cancerous tissue.
